Our Health Educators
Olmsted Medical Center offers a multidisciplinary education program which emphasizes prevention, self-management, and healthy living. Our educators are excellent resources for patients who want to uncover the "secrets" of living a healthier life.
Jamie Breuer, RD
Jamie received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin—Stout. She completed her practical work at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Fairview. She is certified in adult weight management. Jamie joined the OMC team in 2006.
Elizabeth Vermilya, RD, LD
Liz received her Bachelor of Science degree in Community and Medical Dietetics from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She previously worked in pediatrics and community health before coming to OMC. She is certified in pediatric and childhood weight management. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Liz joined the OMC team in 2015.
Greg Hagen, RN, CDE, CHES
Greg received his Bachelor of Arts (Biology) at St. Olaf College and a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) at Winona State University. Greg also spent a one-year internship at the health service of the University of Wisconsin—Stevens Point and the National Wellness Conference working in wellness/health promotion. Greg has certifications as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) since 1990 and as a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) since 1992. Greg is a member of the American Association of Diabetic Educators (AADE). He joined the OMC team in 1998.
