Professional Interests
As a Family Medicine physician and Olmsted Medical Center’s Chief Medical Officer, Mark Wilbur, MD, is dedicated to enriching lives through expert care. Dr. Wilbur has been with OMC since 2005 and practices in our Byron clinic and Emergency Department. Within Family Medicine, Dr. Wilbur sees patients from infancy through adulthood across a variety of areas including well child checks, prenatal care, chronic diseases, diabetes, heart issues, and more. Dr. Wilbur says, “When patients come in, I just hope that they know that I’m going to listen to them. They shouldn’t be nervous. We’re here to have a conversation, and I’m here to help guide them with their medical choices. This is a trust-based relationship, and making that connection is really step one.”

Personal Interests
Outside of work, Dr. Wilbur enjoys playing and coaching soccer, hiking with his dogs, and restoring prairie land. He values his role at OMC for the relationships he’s able to establish with his patients and colleagues, and for the compassionate care OMC provides.
