Professional Interests
As an Infectious Disease physician, Odette El Helou, MD, is dedicated to enriching lives through expert care. Dr. El Helou has been with OMC since 2023 and treats infections caused by organisms such as viruses, bacteria, and fungi, affecting all parts of the body. Dr. El Helou collaborates closely with her team to gather detailed patient histories, conduct exams, and create personalized treatment plans. Passionate about public health, Dr. El Helou enjoys working with the community to keep it safe. Dr. El Helou says, "Infectious disease doctors are detectives - we solve mysteries. As a child, I always loved reading mystery books, and I think we gather those clues from the patient. Based on all of this information, we try to find the answer and figure out a treatment plan. I like that investigational aspect of my specialty."
