Professional Interests
As a Neurologist, Kate Hocquard, MD, is dedicated to enriching lives through expert care. Dr. Hocquard has been with OMC since 2019 and specializes in diseases affecting the brain, spinal cord, and nerves such as migraine headaches, Parkinson’s disease, memory troubles, dementia, and concussions. With a passion for relating to her patients through her own experiences with migraine headaches and family dementia, Dr. Hocquard creates a compassionate, welcoming environment for patients to communicate their concerns on their journey to improved health. Dr. Hocquard wants her patients to know that she understands the intimidation that can accompany an appointment. She says, “I just want them to not be afraid. I promise I’ll do everything within my power to get them feeling better. I’m stubborn, so I’ll keep working with them as long as it takes to feel better.” She believes making a connection with her patients is very important, as it allows her to see and care for the whole individual.
