Professional Interests
As a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM), Vanessa Pfizenmaier is dedicated to enriching lives through expert care. Dr. Pfizenmaier has been with OMC since 2012 and specializes in non-surgical care including thickened nails, callouses, ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis, diabetic ulcerations, joint pain, gout, swelling, and more. Dr. Pfizenmaier wants her patients to know that the department works closely with the rest of the organization to refer patients for any conditions that are outside of the scope of practice to ensure they’re able to get the help that they need. She values the lasting relationships she’s able to create with her patients and their families, and the foundation of trust that is built. She says, “Making the connection with the patient leads us to be able to treat them in a better fashion because they trust us and are in charge of their own treatment.
