Does ENT treat all head and neck disorders?

ENT provides comprehensive patient care services for the ear, nose, and throat. Disorders of the brain, thyroid, and eyes are treated by other OMC specialty care areas.

Is hearing loss diagnosed and treated by ENT?

The ear can be examined by ENT specialists to diagnose structural or age-related causes of hearing loss. OMC’s audiology team also provides care for hearing loss and balance disorders.

Does ENT include cancer treatment?

Certain cancers of the head and neck region are treated by OMC’s ENT specialists. Referral may be required for follow-up treatment.

Does OMC’s ENT team pierce ears?

No. Ear piercing is considered a cosmetic, rather than medical, service.
