Our highly skilled and compassionate emergency medicine team provides rapid assessment and care for acute:
- Chest pain (and other symptoms of a heart attack)
- Shortness of breath
- Lacerations
- Poisoning and other toxins
- Head injuries, including concussions
- Bleeding
- Fractures (with access to durable medical equipment such as crutches and wheelchairs)
- Abdominal pain
A fully equipped and staffed emergency room provides access to any tests, procedures, or consultations needed to fully address the situation. For example, continuous cardiac monitoring immediately identifies abnormalities in heart rhythm; CT scans are read within minutes; and StO2 spot check tissue profusion monitoring ensures adequate blood flow and oxygen levels in fractured limbs.
OMC’s emergency health care services are available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
