Dietary Services (Inpatient)

OMC’s dietary services team meets the nutrition needs of hospitalized patients. Registered dietitians provide individualized nutrition care to inpatients and education to patients, family, caregivers, and staff.

Our nutrition staff provides an in-room meal service to all patients, which allows the patient to have input regarding when and what they want to eat. Dietitians and food service staff ensure meals fall within the dietary guidelines ordered by clinicians or registered dietitians.

Registered dietitians work closely with other members of the healthcare team to provide the best care for our patients. Open communication about patient status and nutrition needs assure patients are well nourished during hospitalization to assist in healing and recovery.
