Note about Billing for FastCare and Acute Care:

Acute Care is billed as a regular office visit while Fast Care is billed as convenience care. Patients are encouraged to contact their insurance company with questions regarding their coverage.

Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic

The Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic will provide immediate care, on a walk-in basis, to recent bone and joint injuries. Visit the Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic webpage for more information.

Acute Care

Feeling ill or injured? Choose walk-in Acute Care for help with your urgent healthcare needs at a higher level than FastCare clinics. You’ll find lab and radiology services if you need them. Explore Acute Care services, locations, and wait times.

On-Demand Virtual Care

Olmsted Medical Center offers a virtual option for patients to receive healthcare. Using the virtual video visit platform called “On-Demand” in the patient portal, OMC MyChart, patients will be able to receive care without leaving their home. Available Monday through Friday, from 5:00 – 9:00 PM, care is available for acute and chronic conditions, medication refills (non-narcotic) as well as for general medical issues and mental health (no new diagnosis). How to get a COVID-19 Test

Patients have the following options for being tested for COVID-19.

Call their primary care provider’s office. Patients should call their provider’s office. A nurse will ask a few questions to determine if testing is appropriate and, if so, schedule the test.

Visit FastCare. Patients can visit either FastCare North or FastCare South for a standard walk-in appointment with a provider. If the provider determines testing is appropriate, it will be done at that time.

Patients who are only seen in the Asthma & Allergy department or in obstetrics, should call that department to speak with a nurse. The nurse will determine if testing is appropriate and schedule the patient for a test

For patients without a primary care provider, they should contact the messaging center at 507.292.7070.

Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, at the Miracle Mile Clinic

FastCare North and FastCare South

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

The Emergency department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
