The asthma and allergy health care team at OMC provides the entire spectrum of care, coordinating necessary tests, treatments, and information, including:

• Allergy skin testing for environmental allergies
• Basic Pulmonary function tests for diagnostic and monitoring purposes
• Penicillin allergy testing
• Lidocaine allergy testing
• Venom allergy testing
• Patch Testing to chemical, additives and metals for dermatological conditions
• Food allergy testing and oral challenges (not including desensitization)
• Inhaler and EpiPen education
• Immunotherapy for treatment of allergies
• Administration of biologics for treatment of severe persistent asthma and urticaria

All tests are ordered online, typically with same-day or next-day results; communicated by a nurse or via the OMC MyChart patient portal. Typically, same-day appointments are available for established patients.
