Rochester, with a population of 114,008, is an exciting and unique community. It is the third largest city in the state and was listed as Livability.com's No. 1 city on its 2017 ranking of Top 100 Best Places to Live. You will find a variety of sports and recreational activities as well as over 60 miles paved trails for biking and hiking.

Education

Olmsted County of which Rochester is the county seat, is known for its outstanding educational opportunities.  Within the county you will find 56 public and private elementary, middle, and high schools.  In addition to traditional schools, Rochester offers magnet and charter schools.
