Hours for Acute Care

Rochester Northwest Clinic: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM.
Miracle Mile Clinic: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

Acute Care at the Rochester Northwest Clinic Relocated to the Lower Level

Acute Care at Olmsted Medical Center’s Rochester Northwest Clinic has relocated from the main floor to the lower level of the Northwest Clinic. Patients should park in the lower-level parking lot and enter the lower-level patient entrance.

Receive quick care for children and adults at our Acute Care Clinics for conditions including:

  • Acne
  • Allergies
  • Allergic reactions (minor)
  • Animal/insect bites
  • Back pain
  • Colds/flu symptoms including fever, cough, sore throat, and earache
  • Cold sores
  • Fractures
  • Headaches
  • Minor burns and rashes (eczema, poison ivy/oak, athlete’s foot, sunburn, etc.)
  • Scrapes, cuts, and lacerations (including stitches)
  • Sinus infections
  • Skin infections, including impetigo and ringworm
  • Sore throat
  • Stitch removal
  • Stomach aches
  • Sprains and strains
  • Vomiting and diarrhea
  • Workers compensation injuries—initial care

Lab & Radiology Services

Take advantage of some lab and radiology services at our acute care clinics:

  • Mononucleosis screening
  • Pertussis tests
  • Pregnancy tests
  • Rapid influenza (flu) tests
  • Rapid strep and strep culture tests
  • Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) tests
  • Routine blood tests (glucose, complete blood count or CBC, etc.)
  • Routine X-rays
  • Sexually transmitted disease (STD) and gynecological tests
  • Urinalysis and urine culture
  • Wound cultures

Please keep in mind that our Acute Care Clinics don’t have computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), or ultrasound, and can’t run cardiac or chemistry labs.

Your doctor may ask you to give a lab sample onsite to help diagnose your condition. You may receive your test results during your visit. But sometimes, we have to send lab samples elsewhere for testing. In that case, we’ll contact you with results as soon as possible.
