Equipment Services

Get recommendations and training for medical equipment and assistive and mobility devices that may be right for you. Rely on OMC therapists for:

  • Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and systems
  • Education to use transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) or muscle re-education electrical devices
  • Help to use adaptive equipment for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Traction device recommendations and services
  • Training to use canes, crutches, walkers, and other devices
  • Wheelchair and/or scooter assessment, consultation, and fitting

Lee Silverman Voice Treatment

If you have Parkinson's disease or its symptoms, get Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) at OMC. We offer both Loud and Big programs for voice and physical skills. After you have had LSVT BIG therapy, attend our LSVT class. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Do core LSVT exercises
  • Have fun meeting and being social with other LSVT program graduates
  • Improve walking abilities
  • Practice key functional movements to make daily activities easier

Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

Access services for conditions that affect women's reproductive health. Turn to OMC for:

  • Diagnosis of pain during sex or pelvic exams
  • Preparation for radiation therapy or reconstructive therapy following mastectomy (breast removal surgery)
  • Treatment for urinary incontinence (inability to control urine) and pelvic floor dysfunction

Inpatient Treatment

Your care team may recommend inpatient rehabilitation after an injury, health emergency, or surgery. Inpatient means you stay at the OMC hospital overnight for care. Your therapy will take place Monday through Friday and may include weekend and holiday treatments.

Do I Need a Referral?

You won't need a referral to access OMC's rehabilitation services unless you get care for 90 days or more.
