What’s a Gynecologist?
A gynecologist is trained in women’s health services and provides care to women of all ages. A gynecologist will monitor the health of your:
- Breasts
- Reproductive organs, including the uterus, fallopian tubes, cervix, ovaries, and vagina
Conditions We Treat

- Cervical polyps, growths of the cervix
- Endometriosis, when tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus grows outside your uterus
- Infertility (inability to get or stay pregnant)
- Menopause
- Painful/irregular menstruation cycles or bleeding
- Pelvic prolapse, weakened or loose pelvic muscles
- Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
- Sexually transmitted diseases/infections (STDs/STIs)

- Uterine fibroids, noncancerous growths of the uterus

- Implanon/Nexplanon arm implant placement and removal
- IUD (intrauterine device) placement and removal (Mirena IUD and Paraguard IUD)

- Prevention and treatment of STIs
- Preventive Pap smears & HPV tests, (Human Papillomavirus), screening tests to check the health of your cervix to detect changes that could lead to cancer
