Comforts+ Class

This one-night class is helpful for the expectant couple who wish for a natural, non-medicated birth. Certified nurses and doulas will cover topics like comfort measures, body positions, and breathing techniques; you’ll have the opportunity to practice each one.

Thank you for registering for OMC Prenatal & Family Education Classes! Our classes are held in the

Founders Room of Olmsted Medical Center – Hospital, 1650 Fourth Street SE, Rochester, Minnesota. The Founders Conference Room is located off of the cafeteria. You may park in the front lot, and enter through the hospital’s main entrance.

Snacks and break times are provided throughout the class. You are encouraged to bring your own snacks and water/beverage bottle. Please wear comfortable shoes & clothing, since we will be practicing comfort skills for labor/birth. Four-Week Series and Comforts Plus Childbirth Series:  Please bring two pillows.

If you choose to pay with a check, please make it payable to “Olmsted Medical Center.” Tell us the name of your insurance provider, as it may determine the amount of coverage for class payment. You may send payment to our office or bring it with you to class. Scholarships are available for all classes. We will not turn anyone away because of inability to pay.
