Mark Wilbur, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Mark Wilbur, MD, joined OMC in 2005 as a family medicine physician at the Byron Clinic. Over the years he has partnered with his patients to improve their health and wellness, making a positive difference in their lives. Dr. Wilbur served as a board member on the Olmsted Medical Center Board of Trustees from 2014-2021.

From 2013-2022, he served as department chair for the branch clinics and most recently as division chair for primary care and medical subspecialties, a position he assumed in 2022. Over the years he has built trusting relationships across the organization, putting together effective teams to improve care, access, and efficiency.

As CMO, Dr. Wilbur will be responsible for the overall medical direction of OMC. He will oversee the medical staff, clinical operations, and quality improvement initiatives.
